Of course, in your day-to-day life off cam, you probably go to the grocery store, stand in line at the post office, and order your coffee just like everyone else. But when you are online, you are an enigma. You are a larger than life image who is also intimately personal. I remember the first time I saw a celebrity I admired in real life, I was absolutely stricken with excitement. My hands went clammy. My breath tightened in my chest. It was exhilarating. The fantasy of who that person was struck me to the core. In the same way, your image (your fantasy) bores into the viewer and makes their heart thump in their chest. Any way that you can build that fantasy and lure in more customers, the better off you’ll be. Learn to grow your online presence as the fantasy that your customers intimately desire.
Your sex appeal is you being an attractive person. By “attractive” I don’t mean that you necessarily have to be objectively beautiful (as if there is such a thing). What I do mean is that you should work on what makes you attractive and develop that gift. It might not even be your physical attributes that make you attractive. It might be your ability to charm and seduce your customers. Or, it might be your ability to make your audience laugh. On the other hand, it might be your ability to radiate the kind of energy that moves your audience to keep coming back to you. Learn about what guides your sex appeal and intensify that energy. It will rocket you to not only be a better model, but a better person.
Have you ever been involved in a conversation where the person you are talking to won’t stop talking about themselves? Think closely. What usually ends up happening in such a situation? In my experience, my eyes start to grow heavy, my vision blurs from the boredom, and my head hits the table before I even know it. Yes, it’s painfully boring when a person spends too much time talking about themselves. What will set you apart is the level at which you are genuinely interested in your customers. Engage them. Remember that customers, like anyone else, want to feel desired and wanted. So, what can you do? Here are a few simple things that you can start doing today to better cultivate a sense of becoming more interested in your room.
First, Get to know them as a person, not a bank. When performing, don’t just pleasure yourself and stare at the ceiling. Instead, talk and engage with your customer. Get off to them, or at least appear to do so. People genuinely want to be fed their value and feel sexy and wanted and desired. Assure your customer has an experience they will never forget and keep them coming back for more.
Finally, get engaged with your five senses (and try to engage your customers’ senses). Even through a digital screen, various senses can be engaged positively by using your imagination and encouraging your customer to use their imagination. Engage the mind and the body will follow. Plus, customers will definitely be more convinced that you are interested in them if you are curious about what they look like, what they smell like (what cologne or perfume they wear), how tall they are, what their voice sounds like, etc. Be genuinely interested in getting to know them. You are the star, but help them feel like the center of attention as well. Ask them what some of their fantasies are and what kind of people they are attracted to, and then create that character for them in your next show together.
Ultimately, your customer is going to go with whichever model best fits what they are looking for at that exact moment. Of course, it might be you. However, it might be someone else. The only thing that you can do to catch that fish is to tailor your profile pic to represent the best version of yourself that you wish to display to potential customers. In this business you can’t please everyone, but you can control your niche, your image, your visual appeal. And the message in bringing this to your conscious awareness is that we live in a world of image. Controlling and shaping your profile image is of the utmost importance to how your fans will view you.
Your profile picture is the first “hook” that entices customers to your room. Imagine you see two images side-by-side. One image is a poorly lit selfie that barely displays the model’s face or whatever appealing side of their body they are trying to express through the framing of the pic. The other profile picture is a professionally shot image that shows a tailored and carefully crafted image of the model in HD quality, a stunning representation of what the model is offering. Which pic do you think that you would click on? Think about it.
Your image speaks volumes about you. It can even determine your “quality” as a model and can even decide, in a customer’s mind, if you are a top model, that is, a model who is worthy of top pay.
