Giving thanks on cam for a tip is always the right move. Imagine that you are a customer. Maybe you work three jobs. Or, maybe you work one very laborious full-time job. Your money counts. Every dollar counts. As a treat to yourself, you choose to spend time at your cam site of choice. There, you find a model who really gets you jazzed up. You want to tip. So, when the mood hits you, you drop a tip to show the model how much you care. But… the model doesn’t reply. It seems like the model really doesn’t care. And, suddenly, more customers start tipping. The model says nothing. He or she just carries on. Did they see your tip? Did they notice it? Maybe they were just too busy. So, you wait until a different day, a slower day, and drop another tip. But, even then, upon tipping, the model says nothing. You know that they saw the tip. You know that they felt the tip (it was a nice-sized tip!) yet, they said nothing. If you were that customer, do you think you’d want to keep visiting that model? I’d guess not. People like to be a part of something that they desire. If you receive a tip, please show your appreciation to the tipper. That one act of appreciation could keep that customer coming back for a long time.
Did you have a private show with a customer? Make sure you tell them how thankful you are at the end of the private show. Being taken into any kind of a private situation means that the customer took a particular liking to the magic that you are spreading. That customer wanted to spend time solely with you. And, in this competitive atmosphere, you’ll want every private show you can get. It’s what sets you apart from the competition. Are you in-demand? If not, study this site and we’re sure that you’ll grow yourself into an impressive cam model.
Tell your customer how much you love their company and how they make your day when they come visit you and how special they make you feel. At the end of the day, make sure you tell them how special they
are. Everyone likes to know that they are special. Customers are no different. Show your appreciation to them and that appreciation will keep them coming back. It’s the simplest truth, but believe me, it is a truth to be reckoned with.
And you, you’ll be seen as special, too, because that customer will remember how you thanked them. And, if they visit other models who fail to reflect their uniqueness, you can bet that they’ll be back to your room in no time.

It’s a common adage in America to, “Dress for the job you want, not the one you have.” We also say, “Clothes make the (wo)man.” Or, who can forget the lyrics that a classic ZZ Top song, “Every girls’ crazy about a sharp dressed man.” What’s pretty self-evident by examining these three quotations is the idea that people notice our clothes. If we show up to a formal party wearing a jeans and a dirty T-shirt, people will take notice. Similarly, if we go on a date dressed to perfection with a style that fits our personality, people will notice. And it’s this latter, positive swing, that we wish to focus on with these three little words: “Dress for success.”

Is your room well-lit? Always ensure that you are properly lit while on cam. Unless its an essential part of your aesthetic, keep your room well-lit. Accentuate those parts of yourself that you want to show off. Make sure that the customer can actually see what’s going on without it being too dark.
If you’re not enjoying yourself, you’re probably not doing it right. Change up your game. Let loose and, most importantly, have fun. Camming is a performative industry. That is, you are at your peak when you are performing on cam. Therefore, it makes sense that you should focus on your well-being. Letting loose and having fun is the name of the game. The more fun you are having, the more your room will enjoy the experience.
When customers enter your room, they are presented with your image. They will instinctively react to how you appear on cam — how your body appears on cam. Do you look bored? Maybe you look careless? Are you pouting in a frustrated way? Or, perhaps you are emanating an irritated vibe? No matter what, you are going to want to look lively and approachable. Sometimes, even through the distance of a webcam, people will be intimidated by you. Unless you are purposely cultivating that effect, you’ll want to work on how you are coming off to people who are coming into your room.
What’s one great way to look both lively and approachable? Well, there’s a saying that, “nothing is more beautiful on a man or a woman than a confident smile.” There’s something magical about
Finally, I know this is not always easy to do, but trust me, it’s worth it. And your fans will thank you, too. I compare it to the experience of watching a late night television talk show host. In every clip I watch, I’m joined by an upbeat and funny personality. Sure, sometimes such hosts discuss serious matters, but most of the time, their presence is focused on keeping things funny. That’s a major skill. Also, the television talk show host thrives on their ability to be lively and approachable. If you don’t believe me, conduct an experiment. Go to Youtube and look around for popular late night talk show host clips. Analyze their behavior, how they make their audiences laugh, how they tell jokes. And if you think such celebrities don’t apply to your situation, I think you’re wrong. In my opinion, you are an entertainer just like they are. So, take a moment and try to work on your smile. Show your room that you welcome them into your lovely space. Notice the difference.
How you present yourself on cam is a big theme on Guide to Camming. As industry professionals and lifelong achievers, we truly believe that it makes a difference how you present yourself on cam, how you groom yourself, how you craft your behavior, and how you engage with your customers. Focus on those things which you have control over. It can make or break your cam adventure. And, heeded properly, can elevate your hours to the heights of financial freedom. It can also mean the difference between twiddling your thumbs or watching your bank account today, I’d like to offer you up one bit of wisdom that you can take with you as soon as you’re back online. It’s this: OWN YOUR DOMAIN. Or, said otherwise, YOUR ROOM, YOUR DOMAIN. Let’s break it down.
You are in control of your room. Don’t let anyone try to tell you otherwise. You are the one who is on cam and you are the one who fans are coming to visit. They are on your channel, in your room. If they don’t like it, they can leave. Right? Right. Don’t be afraid to think otherwise. Sure, playing into their hands is recommended, but there’s no need for you to feel shy. Literally, it’s your chat room. The more you own your domain, the more your customers will want to hang out with you. You’ll start to see the same people coming to your room week after week.
So, take a deep breath and say to yourself, “It’s okay to be who you are.” Feels liberating, doesn’t it? This kind of thing is helpful. Actually, we wholly encourage it. The more you opt-in to the idea of “Your Room, Your Domain,” the more free you will feel. Everyone who comes to your room has chosen you. Use that wisdom to
