ESCA: Review

The Esca represents another collaboration in interactive sex toy design by Kiiroo and OhMiBod, the same industry giants who brought you the Fuse. While it’s a very different toy, it comes with some similar features. It’s Bluetooth enabled, remotely controllable through the FeelConnect App, and also comes with some powerful pre-set vibration settings. The most glaring difference between the two is: as a wearable g-spot vibe, it only offers 1-way interactivity, meaning that your customer or long-distance lover can control the device and stimulate you, but you can’t return the favor.

The Essentials:

Esca Interactive DeviceThe Kiirroo website markets the Esca as “56 grams of pleasure.” Comprised of the same sleek silicon matte material as the Fuse, this toy feels fantastic to the touch. Its slim design (1.3 inch diameter) makes it comfortable to wear for extended sessions and, when fully charged, the vibrations are powerful and can really rumble through your body.

One of the most frustrating things about the majority of app-enabled sex toys is how difficult to be to establish the Bluetooth connection. As we saw with the Fuse, Kiiroo and OhMiBod have done a lot to simplify this process in their devices. Putting the Esca in Bluetooth mode is as simple as holding the power button for 3-4 seconds.

Switching it to manual mode can be slightly more annoying, because it requires multiple clicks of the power button, waiting for the first pulsation, and then pressing the button over again to browse through its different sensations. While this can cause some mode cycling, with only 1 button to press, it’s still relatively easy to achieve the manual setting you desire.

Interactivity:

Esca Interactive DeviceOther reviews that are not necessarily cam-model-centric have called the Esca a great introductory device for Long Distance play. I would have to agree. It’s a fantastic toy, and customers are sure to enjoy having the hands-on experience of controlling the way it stimulates you. Connecting to your remote user is a snap (as easy as the Fuse, which you can read about here).

It only lacks in the ability to have 2-way play. A wearable vibe that can somehow integrate the same touch-sensitive technology found in the Fuse would be even more fun, and could certainly be more lucrative for cam models. All-in-all, as a way to introduce interactive play into your chatroom or private shows, the Esca is definitely a great starting point.

Cons:

The esca certainly wins points for ease of use, vibration power, and comfortability. It’s major drawbacks are:

  • Lacks the 2-way versatility of the Fuse. While it’s compatible with all the same devices, one of the major turn-ons for customers is the “hands-on” experience of mutual responsiveness. If you have a lot of customers with their own interactive toys, the Fuse just can’t be topped for versatility.
  • Splash resistant, and not water resistant due to the charge port. The Esca can’t be submerged in water, so cleaning it during and after a broadcast is not super quick or convenient. Fortunately, the high-quality silicon is quite cling-resistant and doesn’t gather dust.
  • Again, just like the Fuse, the battery life is a little lacking. Getting an hour of use out of the Esca requires 1.5 to 2 hours of charge time. For a couple using this toy to spice up a long distance relationship, that’s fine. But if you plan on making it an integral part of your cam shows, make sure you’re charging it diligently.

Verdict:

The Esca is a well-designed, great feeling sex toy that’s compatible with virtually every popular 2-way toy in common use. Its shortcomings are most glaring when compared to the highly versatile Fuse. If it were to somehow integrate 2-way interactivity, and the amazing touch-sensitive technology found in its counterpart, it could be the best wearable interactive vibe on the market.

Keep Them in Your Room

Keeping customers in your room is not easy, but it’s always the best method for success. But how can an up-and-coming model retain customers day in and day out? While there’s no surefire way that will work 100% of the time, there are simple things that you can do to increase your chances at having a successful time online? But how? Well, read on.

Keep CustomersLet’s dive right in. Even better, let’s get aphoristic: Be seductive by being the fantasy that your customers want (even if they don’t know they want it), and they’ll be yours. Keep them in your room by giving them a truly “fantastic” experience. While this sounds easy, it might not be as easy as you think.

Customers can be demanding. They can be very mouthy and opinionated. It’s your task to learn how to seduce them into what you want. How can you do that? Keep things fresh. The more “in the moment” you are, responding to what your customers are saying, or playing into the fantasy of the role that you are perpetuating, the closer you probably are to a successful turn of events. 

Since your room is probably a mixture of new and old customers, keep things fresh in any way that you can. Have interesting things to talk about. Switch up your locations. Indulge in outfits that will drive your room wild. Your goal is to be the best host that you can be. In doing this, your customers will remember the experience that they have with you. They’ll remember you. They’ll “favorite” you and visit your chat room time after time after time. If you get “lucky,”some customers will want to whisk you away to private every time you come online. Some customers will dream of loading their account up with credits (or whatever monetary system your cam site of choice uses) and giving you a piece of themselves.

Do all this and you run the chance to become special to your customers. And offering a superior product that customers will want to come back to time and again is special. It lasts.

Tease and Deepen

Most customers want some kind of flirtatious engagement with you. That’s probably why they come to your chat room. At least at first. Don’t be surprised. People like to be flirted with. They may want to say things to you that they can’t express to others in their day-to-day life. Or, they may want to establish some kind of virtual companionship with you that’s also lacking in their day-to-day life. Either way, you are playing an important role in the life of that customer. So, what can you do to make sure that your time is well spent?

TeaseDeepen your communication with your customers. Tease them. Make them laugh. Most importantly, dear model, turn them on. If you can continue to do this, your customers will want more of what you are offering. They’ll come back to your room and spend on you. They’ll make your time count. And, at the end of the day, this bond between you and the customer is what makes this so rewarding, right? However, is this kind of communication easy? It’s not. What, then, does it demand?

At its root, it demands that you truly become a great performer on cam. Moreover, it demands that you work on becoming a better performer every time you come on cam. Yes, EVERY time you come on cam. Consider this your training. The more you do it, the better you will get at it. And, trust me, while you see other cam models fizzing out because they don’t know why they aren’t feeling fulfilled on cam, you will be the one who lasts longer, gains more fans, and ultimately succeeds. You will look back and know that your time has been well spent.

Success feels like a million bucks, doesn’t it? Make a plan to flirt wisely, deepen your approach, and practice it. Set goals for targets that you want to it as  cam model and achieve them. Keep yourself focused on what drives your customers wild and improve upon that every time that you go on cam. If you do this, you’ll definitely be stepping up your game, and you’ll notice the difference.

INTERACT!

Being lively on cam is a good way to build rapport and enjoyment with your customers. If you ignore your room, your customers will probably become bored. Try it. See what happens. Ignore everyone in your room and watch your customers leave without saying goodbye. But, if you interact with them, let them know that they are there.

By doing so, it’ll help draw them into your room, and draw them into you as a professional cam model. They’ll remember how much fun they had in your room and are apt to come back for more. And, isn’t that what you want? Repeat customers. Keep in mind that as a cam model you have a larger than life presence in the mind of your audience. You are a star. You are “their” star. But wait… it gets better!

Interactive

The word “interact” doesn’t just mean that you should talk to and engage with your audience, it means that you also have the opportunity to truly become “interactive.” Have you tried using an interactive device on cam? Do you have any interactive devices?  If so, awesome! If not, why the heck not?! Interactive features allow customers to virtually “touch” you and, in some cases, for you to virtually “touch” them. If you have the means and the desire, by all means, go interactive. What a great feeling to receive a tip and feel it vibrating on your body. What a thrill to feel those tips rain down and light up your sensitive spots. And, what a thrill to be able to control a user’s device. In doing so, you’ll give that user an extreme amount of pleasure. 

So, as you go out into your cam rooms, consider how you are interacting with your room and, if you haven’t yet done so, consider adding an interactive device to the mix. It could make a world of difference in how your room grows and prospers.

Fantasy

PLAY THE FANTASY

Customers come to your room for a fantasy experience. Maybe they want you to want them. Maybe they want to talk dirty to you. Maybe they just want a companion who they know will be online at a certain time everyday, someone they can communicate with and get closer to. Maybe they are horny, it’s late at night, and they enter your room ready to party hard. I think all customers who come to a chat room have the desire to step into a fantasy they can’t get in their day-to-day lives. They come to your room to leave reality and enter a new reality. In this way, you play a very important role in their lives. You allow them to safely escape from their normal life and, for a period of time, live out their fantasy with you.

FantasyIf you can understand what your customers want, and if you’re comfortable with the fantasy (and if it adheres to our rules & regulations), then go for the experience and be that fantasy that your customers want to see. You could also start your night (or day) by putting yourself in a fantasy situation. For example, you could start your broadcast wearing a new outfit or costume (a doctor or nurse, a teacher, a dominatrix, etc). Greet your customers from the point of view as whatever role you’re playing. Draw them into your fantasy and keep them there. When customers get turned on, I mean, really turned on, they lose track of the outside world. It’s like when someone plays a video game that they love. Watch that person lose track of the outside world — hours pass and they had no idea. If you can successfully draw that customer into your fantasy, they won’t want to leave. The fantasy will consume them and that’s always a good thing. They’ll want more. They’ll come back for more. Try it!
