What happens when you leave your fans for an extended period of time? Think about it… Ready? Well, simply said, they find someone else. That’s right. They find another muse, another gorgeous cam model (like yourself) who’ll help them get their rocks off day in and day out. And, if you’ve become their virtual companion, then they’ll be crushed… But they’ll move on. Begrudgingly. But they will.Then again, maybe some of them don’t know you’re back. Spreading the word and being professional about it is the way to succeed.
And if you have stepped away from camming, but now are coming back, have you tried promoting yourself on social media? Have you kept a consistent schedule once you came back? Get out there on your site of choice and shout yourself out to the world. Your regular customers are probably still out there, they just don’t know that you are back. Honestly, you have to let them know. And if they don’t come back to you, build yourself up to a new base of fans. Like I said, when you broadcast, you are literally opening yourself up to the entire world. It’s a mighty big world out there. Trust me. Perform your best and people will come (literally and figuratively).
As for conversations, treat your cam time like a true-to-life show. Or, treat your cam time as time spent as if with a close friend. Tell your customers erotic stories, fantasies, dreams. Tell them jokes. Show them what you are comfortable showing them. What I’ve found is that if you make them laugh and feel good, they’ll come back for more. Tease them. Please them. Ease them back into your world. Make your world one that they want to be a part of. If you do that, you’ll have them lined up and eager to tip and take you to private shows all night.
Reconnect
So, reconnect! What do you do when your webcam becomes disconnected from your computer? Yeah, that’s right. You reconnect it. Plug back in. If you love this work, then love it. Be it. One hundred percent. Perform. Express. Dance on cam. Jump on cam. Let your positive nature bubble out of you like a warm volcano of erotic joy. You just have to do it and do it and do it.
Live it.
Let’s dive right in. Even better, let’s get aphoristic: Be seductive by being the fantasy that your customers want (even if they don’t know they want it), and they’ll be yours. Keep them in your room by giving them a truly “fantastic” experience. While this sounds easy, it might not be as easy as you think. 
If you can understand what your customers want, and if you’re comfortable with the fantasy (and if it adheres to our rules & regulations), then go for the experience and be that fantasy that your customers want to see. You could also start your night (or day) by putting yourself in a fantasy situation. For example, you could start your broadcast wearing a new outfit or costume (a doctor or nurse, a teacher, a dominatrix, etc). Greet your customers from the point of view as whatever role you’re playing. Draw them into your fantasy and keep them there. When customers get turned on, I mean, really turned on, they lose track of the outside world. It’s like when someone plays a video game that they love. Watch that person lose track of the outside world — hours pass and they had no idea. If you can successfully draw that customer into your fantasy, they won’t want to leave. The fantasy will consume them and that’s always a good thing. They’ll want more. They’ll come back for more. Try it! 
It’s a common adage in America to, “Dress for the job you want, not the one you have.” We also say, “Clothes make the (wo)man.” Or, who can forget the lyrics that a classic ZZ Top song, “Every girls’ crazy about a sharp dressed man.” What’s pretty self-evident by examining these three quotations is the idea that people notice our clothes. If we show up to a formal party wearing a jeans and a dirty T-shirt, people will take notice. Similarly, if we go on a date dressed to perfection with a style that fits our personality, people will notice. And it’s this latter, positive swing, that we wish to focus on with these three little words: “Dress for success.” 
We are a visual culture. There’s no way around that. Humans use of sight and visual interpretation is unparalleled. This is why we have web cameras and not only web microphones. Can you imagine a chat room that is ONLY voice? It would be radio. Surely, we can appreciate our other senses, but the sense of sight reigns supreme. In this way, you’ll want to focus your attention on how you appear on cam. Most customers will judge you rather immediately. There’s not much of a way to get around this. Customers choose impulsively and choose based on how your visual image stimulates their unconscious. What I mean is that your visual image will be judged (subconsciously) by how you stimulate their loins or the beat of their heartbeat. 
An icon is an image of the Ideal. That’s essentially what you have become upon embarking on the wonderful journey of becoming a cam model.
