What happens when you leave your fans for an extended period of time? Think about it… Ready? Well, simply said, they find someone else. That’s right. They find another muse, another gorgeous cam model (like yourself) who’ll help them get their rocks off day in and day out. And, if you’ve become their virtual companion, then they’ll be crushed… But they’ll move on. Begrudgingly. But they will. Then again, maybe some of them don’t know you’re back. Spreading the word and being professional about it is the way to succeed.
And if you have stepped away from camming, but now are coming back, have you tried promoting yourself on social media? Have you kept a consistent schedule once you came back? Get out there on your site of choice and shout yourself out to the world. Your regular customers are probably still out there, they just don’t know that you are back. Honestly, you have to let them know. And if they don’t come back to you, build yourself up to a new base of fans. Like I said, when you broadcast, you are literally opening yourself up to the entire world. It’s a mighty big world out there. Trust me. Perform your best and people will come (literally and figuratively).
As for conversations, treat your cam time like a true-to-life show. Or, treat your cam time as time spent as if with a close friend. Tell your customers erotic stories, fantasies, dreams. Tell them jokes. Show them what you are comfortable showing them. What I’ve found is that if you make them laugh and feel good, they’ll come back for more. Tease them. Please them. Ease them back into your world. Make your world one that they want to be a part of. If you do that, you’ll have them lined up and eager to tip and take you to private shows all night.
Reconnect
So, reconnect! What do you do when your webcam becomes disconnected from your computer? Yeah, that’s right. You reconnect it. Plug back in. If you love this work, then love it. Be it. One hundred percent. Perform. Express. Dance on cam. Jump on cam. Let your positive nature bubble out of you like a warm volcano of erotic joy. You just have to do it and do it and do it.
Live it.

That said, always remember that, at heart, you’re giving your customers a live show. Imagine flipping through television channels and landing on a show that catches your attention. Well, to viewers, that channel is your room (or should be). When anyone enters your room, they are entering whatever enticing fantasy space you have chosen to show off in. Maybe on day one, you’re lounging in your pajamas while lying in bed, framed provocatively. Sip your coffee. Tell them about your wet dreams. Maybe on day two, you’re a strict teacher, dressed to the hilt, ready to role-play a dominant fantasy. Maybe you’re shaking your sexy hips in the kitchen, energetic and cooking up a tasty treat. Or, maybe you’re just “you.” And that’s great. Relax. Enjoy.
As a model, your chat room is not only driven by your physical performance and sexual appeal, but also by how you choose to interact (i.e. chat or speak or communicate) with those who have chosen to spend time (and hopefully money) in your room. Thus, it’s very important how you communicate with those who have chosen to spend time with you online. Greeting customers with a blown kiss, a wave, a smile, with a vocal shout-out, or with a personalized whisper can catch their attention and make them want to further interact with you. Of course, we all have moments when we just want to relax and keep quiet, but remember that new people are coming into your room all the time. At heart, communication is king.
Keep in mind that some users also enjoy watching a chat unfold as a kind of silent voyeur. They want to see your replies to others. They want to hear your voice. They want to hear you laugh and moan. They want to experience whatever role you’re performing. In short, they want to watch you. Taking a moment to talk to your customers, even if they don’t reply, could transform your live experience in a positive and more profitable way.
Giving thanks on cam for a tip is always the right move. Imagine that you are a customer. Maybe you work three jobs. Or, maybe you work one very laborious full-time job. Your money counts. Every dollar counts. As a treat to yourself, you choose to spend time at your cam site of choice. There, you find a model who really gets you jazzed up. You want to tip. So, when the mood hits you, you drop a tip to show the model how much you care. But… the model doesn’t reply. It seems like the model really doesn’t care. And, suddenly, more customers start tipping. The model says nothing. He or she just carries on. Did they see your tip? Did they notice it? Maybe they were just too busy. So, you wait until a different day, a slower day, and drop another tip. But, even then, upon tipping, the model says nothing. You know that they saw the tip. You know that they felt the tip (it was a nice-sized tip!) yet, they said nothing. If you were that customer, do you think you’d want to keep visiting that model? I’d guess not. People like to be a part of something that they desire. If you receive a tip, please show your appreciation to the tipper. That one act of appreciation could keep that customer coming back for a long time.
are. Everyone likes to know that they are special. Customers are no different. Show your appreciation to them and that appreciation will keep them coming back. It’s the simplest truth, but believe me, it is a truth to be reckoned with.
