Make Money on Cam Private Shows and Multi-User Shows

Knowing when to take advantage of the different paid show types a site offers is vital to making money on cam as a model. Private pay-per-minute shows can be very profitable, but is there ever a time when you should not go into a private show?

Read Your Room

The answer lies in your room’s current makeup. Are you busy or slow? Are your regulars online? Are there multiple users already engaged, having fun and tipping? Reading a room is an important skill for all kinds of live entertainers. For a cam model, knowing your audience can help you choose the type of show that will help you make more money on cam!

The Public Chat Numbers Game

Doing a little math will help you profit in the long run. The average private cam show lasts 5 minutes. If you do a 5 minute private for 60 credits per minute, you’ve made 300 credits. But what happens to the 20 active customers who may have tipped you 10 credits each in that same span of time? Chances are, when you left open chat, they found their way into another model’s chatroom. You made 300 credits for your private show, but left 200 on the table and have now come back to an empty room. How can you make more money on cam in this situation?

Who Wants to go Private?

Is it a regular customer or someone new? If they have a history of taking you into long private shows, chances are, this is the most profitable option. You’ll make money for this private and maintain the relationship for future privates. If it’s a customer you don’t know, you may be in for an average-length show (5 minutes). Keep a record of your regular customers and their habits so you know what you may be in for.

Invite Voyeurs

Allowing voyeurs in your private shows is a great way to make other customers stick around while you’re in private. For a fraction of the cost, they can watch your steamy private action, and you make extra money on cam for the same performance. Just keep in mind that the customer taking you private must approve of it.

Multi-User Shows or Tip-based Shows

If you get a private request and your room is already active, engaged, and tipping, then you have a decision to make. Make sure you’re familiar with all the show types your site offers. You may want to offer a multi-user show or a tips-only show instead. On a site like Flirt4Free, customers can choose semi-private shows at a reduced rate. If your private show rate is 60 credits per minute, and your multi-user rate is 30, you only need 3 viewers to enter the multi-user show to make more money on cam!

Go With Your Strengths

While you consider your show options, it’s important to note which show type you’re most comfortable with. If you shine in one-on-one sessions, or have trouble balancing requests in a group show, then your decision is easier. Offering a customer your best performance in whatever show-type has the best chance of turning them into regulars. And having a solid list of regulars is always the best way to make money on cam.

Camming 101

USE YOUR VOICE

Webcamming has evolved a lot since its humble origins twenty years ago. In the current climate, cam models are expected to engage customers with interactive devices, be active on social media platforms, attend industry events, and even take on a niche celebrity appeal. But certain fundamentals haven’t changed. The most important being… “Use your voice.” The act of customer to model camming works so well because of the personal bond that can arise when both parties are actively engaged in the moment. The more real you can make the experience, the better of an experience it will be, and using your voice is one key way to increase the illusion of closeness.

The next time you are in a chat room, pay attention to how the model communicates with you. Does he/she mainly type? Do they talk? Do you work with a combination of both? Or, does the model completely ignore the room and do whatever they want to do? I’ve seen all of these situations play out many times over the years, but the model who uses his/her voice is always the one who will keep my attention the longest. Why? Because, it’s special to be able to hear the voice of a model that you like. Plus, conversing is an excellent way for customers to be drawn in to the rich flirtatious subtleties that your voice contains. Of course, if a customer takes you into a private show and demands that you be quiet, then, yeah, it’s probably a good idea to listen to them, but in most any other situation, communicating with your voice will enliven your room and make people want to stay.

Finally, remember that your voice is a powerful tool. You can use your voice to tell stories to your room. Or, you can use your voice to moan and oooh and ahhh your customers into a relaxed state of sensual pleasure. Are you a good joke teller? Make them laugh. Maybe you want to talk about your sexual experiences? Tell them about it. There’s a big difference between writing out the words and speaking them into existence. There’s something powerful about the human voice that the written word just doesn’t capture, especially in a camming context. Your voice is a tool just like your physical attributes. It defines you. Your voice allows you to be heard. So, go out there, dear model, and make your voice heard!

SPICE UP YOUR PROFILE

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again — having a well-maintained profile will greatly help you out in the long run. Remember, the Internet doesn’t sleep. People are coming to your profile at all hours of the night and day. Just because you aren’t online, doesn’t mean people aren’t going to somehow find you. So, what happens when they arrive at your offline profile? Are you going to let them get away or do you want to catch them and make it so that they are absolutely eager to return to your room when you are online? I think the answer is obvious.

Spicing up your profile is a great way to communicate yourself to potential customers. Many people will judge you by a profile image or a thumbnail of you. They will make so many assumptions based on that picture. It’s your job to steer your brand image in the right direction by how you actually are. And where does that information come to life? On your profile, of course.

We all know that you are more than just a talking head on cam. You are a real flesh and blood human being. And, you know all about yourself. But does a customer who has never once met you in person really know who you are? No, of course not. So, your profile is the best way to lay the foundation of what they can expect to see in your room. You could also tell them other things about yourself that could lure them in for time to meet you. Ultimately, meeting you will be a great experience, and it’s what can lead you one step closer to gaining a new fan.

Think about yourself. And, think about what you want to express on your cam bio. Are you an outgoing athlete looking to unwind? Or, are you a geeky gamer who can’t wait for the newest hottest video game to drop? Write about it. Express it. Communicate it. The more articulately you can express yourself in your bio (or on your profile), the more steps you are taking to clearly show off your strengths and interests.

Guide to Camming Tips

TIPPED? GIVE THANKS FOR THE TIP!

MoneyGiving thanks on cam for a tip is always the right move. Imagine that you are a customer. Maybe you work three jobs. Or, maybe you work one very laborious full-time job. Your money counts. Every dollar counts. As a treat to yourself, you choose to spend time at your cam site of choice. There, you find a model who really gets you jazzed up. You want to tip. So, when the mood hits you, you drop a tip to show the model how much you care. But… the model doesn’t reply. It seems like the model really doesn’t care. And, suddenly, more customers start tipping. The model says nothing. He or she just carries on. Did they see your tip? Did they notice it? Maybe they were just too busy. So, you wait until a different day, a slower day, and drop another tip. But, even then, upon tipping, the model says nothing. You know that they saw the tip. You know that they felt the tip (it was a nice-sized tip!) yet, they said nothing. If you were that customer, do you think you’d want to keep visiting that model? I’d guess not. People like to be a part of something that they desire. If you receive a tip, please show your appreciation to the tipper. That one act of appreciation could keep that customer coming back for a long time.

Did you have a private show with a customer? Make sure you tell them how thankful you are at the end of the private show. Being taken into any kind of a private situation means that the customer took a particular liking to the magic that you are spreading. That customer wanted to spend time solely with you. And, in this competitive atmosphere, you’ll want every private show you can get. It’s what sets you apart from the competition. Are you in-demand? If not, study this site and we’re sure that you’ll grow yourself into an impressive cam model.

Tell your customer how much you love their company and how they make your day when they come visit you and how special they make you feel. At the end of the day, make sure you tell them how special theyTips are. Everyone likes to know that they are special. Customers are no different. Show your appreciation to them and that appreciation will keep them coming back. It’s the simplest truth, but believe me, it is a truth to be reckoned with.

And you, you’ll be seen as special, too, because that customer will remember how you thanked them. And, if they visit other models who fail to reflect their uniqueness, you can bet that they’ll be back to your room in no time.
